Anne Markowski joined HCP as a partner after a distinguished career first as a prosecutor for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office and then 17 years as a civil trial attorney in northeast Ohio. Ms. Markowski is an integral part of HCP’s trial team focused upon the defense of private individuals and corporate clients in personal injury, wrongful death and product liability claims. She also defends school districts, teachers, and municipalities in civil rights claims.
As a prosecutor, Ms. Markowski had a specialized focus in handling physical and sexual abuse cases involving children. Her experiences have made her a skilled, relentless and passionate trial attorney.
Ms. Markowski is an a native of northeast Ohio and graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School. She has volunteered as a coach for Hoban’s mock trial team over the years.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Markowski volunteers with Mission Honduras, which raises money and provides water filters to the people of Honduras allowing them to have clean water. She travels to Honduras yearly as a volunteer, providing water filters, and medical care to the people of Honduras. Locally, Ms. Markowski is an active parishioner and volunteer at St. Albert the Great Church in North Royalton. She is also a long standing donor and volunteer for Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District in support of the arts in and around northeast Ohio.
