Career Overview
Brenden recently joined HCP as an Associate. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from John Carroll University and went on to obtain his J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law in 2019, graduating cum laude. During law school, Brenden served as Editor of the Global Business Law Review and was recognized as Editor of the Year for his contributions.
Brenden began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender with Cuyahoga County, where he represented children in delinquency matters and parents in custody proceedings. In addition to his trial work, he played an integral role in Cuyahoga County’s Youth Drug Court Program, collaborating with service providers and therapists to help young people overcome substance abuse challenges.
Outside the office, Brenden lives in Akron, Ohio, with his family. Together, they enjoy traveling the country in pursuit of America’s most challenging miniature golf courses. Brenden is also an active community volunteer, supporting the Special Olympics, the Red Cross, and working on local community garden projects.
